Security Escalation Specialist

Job Type & Schedule
- Contract-to-hire, full-time
- Pay: $18-$19/hr
- Shifts available:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Mid-Shift: 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Location: 100% onsite at secure monitoring facility
- Operation: 24/7, including weekends and holidays (schedule flexibility required)
Key Responsibilities
- Assess alerts flagged by detection agents and determine appropriate responses
- Monitor multiple live feeds using PTZ cameras to track and evaluate activity
- Communicate via talkdown speakers to deter unauthorized or suspicious behavior
- Initiate outbound calls to keyholders, clients, or emergency services when necessary
- Manage inbound calls regarding active incidents, updates, or coordination
- Document events clearly using internal systems (Teams, etc.)
- Follow detailed client-specific protocols and account instructions
- Provide updates to internal teams regarding site details, schedule changes, or technical adjustments
Required Qualifications
- Camera monitoring or surveillance experience in any setting (hotel night audit, gas station manager, retail security, etc.)
- High attention to detail—you notice what others miss
- Strong independent work ethic—you do the right thing, even when no one’s watching
- Excellent Customer Service skills- ability to relay security information in calm and understandable manner when talking to clients
- Professional and clear communicator, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask across surveillance tools, communication software, and reporting systems
- Composure under pressure, especially when making fast decisions in high-stakes environments
Preferred Experience
- Prior roles in security monitoring, dispatch, surveillance, or emergency response
- Background in law enforcement, critical infrastructure protection, or high-volume surveillance systems
