Job Summary:

Works in production/assembly area preparing components for use in assembly and production areas. Tracks components through the production process.

Job Duties:

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Works on assembly line, production, packaging in various capacities according to specifications.
  • Documents products that are going to the production line.
  • Physically moves product to and from the production line.
  • Works in Operational sanitation.
  • Responsible for alerting operators, leads or supervisors of any quality or safety issue.
  • Responsible for working safely at all times.
  • On the floor 100% of shift.
  • Other job duties as assigned

Multi-shift production operations may be expansive, noisy, wet/humid and vary in temperature from refrigerated environments, ambient or warm in summer months depending on facility.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and operate tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to sit, walk, stoop or crouch. In addition, some facilities are multi-level and may require ascending or descending stairs.

The employee may occasionally move up to 25 pounds with a hoist, pallet-jack or cart, and regularly lift up to 15 pounds of boxes of product, bales of cartons, or rolls of film.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
