Assists the Rink Manager with day to day office operations such as rink billing and handling of all special mailings which includes copying, collating, labeling and envelope stuffing. Duties include but are not limited to setting up staffing and planning for special events such as Session I and II skating parties and special hockey games, and planning of Town Skating Competition. The RL supervises Rink Staff during Public Sessions, Lessons, Hockey games and/or assist at Special Events as needed. The RL must schedule Rink Guards & Scoreboard Operators, order/maintain custodial and first-aid supplies as needed through the rink manager and set up school PTA parties (staffing & ticket allocation). In addition, the RL must provide timely press releases for special events and extra holiday sessions through archives and lead/coordinate staff through registration periods.
Approximately 35 hours per week
Season runs from Mid August to Late March
Must be proficient with computers (working knowledge of MS Office and RecTrac). This applicant must possess organizational, telephone, cashiering and supervision skills. Must have excellent communication skills in order to interact with staff and general public.
