Position Title: ServiceNow Architect

Location: Dallas, Austin, Ashburn, or Boston (Hybrid)

Your role

As a ServiceNow Architect, you will be designing solutions for the ServiceNow platform and will be responsible for the overall design of a large-scale enterprise application using best practices. In addition to creating technical solutions, you will also be responsible for developing technical documentation and implementation guides in liaison with the company’s Enterprise Architect.

What you’ll do

  • Provide and socialize domain, architecture, and technical projects to the business
  • Provide strategic recommendations on technical best practices and industry trends
  • Analyze and estimate the time required to design, develop and implement technical solutions
  • Participate in business requirements meetings and provide a framework and inputs for developers to operate within
  • Prepare flows and workflows for overall solutions
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and members of the platform team
  • Know end-to-end ServiceNow modules and solutions
  • Interface with business subject matter experts where required
  • Develop system documentation, including design documents, process flows, and secure development standards
  • Define the architecture of ServiceNow implementations and oversee their successful deployment
  • Host Design Authority meetings to review technical solutions for approval
  • Propose integration methodologies with other systems as required
  • Develop Visio diagrams and high/low-level designs
  • Manage upgrade cycles
  • Evangelize and implement new release functionalities to add business value
  • Review instance performance and propose improvements to the end-user experience
  • Manage all security and audit related activities compliant with a SOC 2 environment

What you’ll need

  • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow solutions
  • 5+ years’ experience in an Enterprise environment with multiple integration points
  • 5+ years’ experience in the design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions
  • 5+ years’ experience in architecting and deploying large-scale ServiceNow solutions
  • Strong analytical skills to identify problems and recommend solutions
  • Excellent understanding of ITIL processes
  • 5+ years’ experience with web technologies
  • 5+ years’ experience with industry standard productivity tools (Excel, Visio etc.)
  • Fluent verbal and written English skills are essential
  • Experience collaborating with virtual teams across multiple regions.
  • Experience using mainstream development methodologies e.g. waterfall and agile
  • Expert-level diagramming (Visio)
  • Natural communicator: Able to engage your stakeholders, colleagues, and team members in a natural way both verbal and written. You speak clearly, coherently and are persuasive. You foster an environment where people feel free to communicate.
  • Experienced facilitator, prepare and facilitate interviews and workshops, being creative in choosing the right format to ensure stakeholder buy-in.

  • Data Centre / Data Centre options experience
  • Experience delivering global, enterprise-wide deliverables.

Essential Certifications

  • ServiceNow – Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
  • ServiceNow – Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ITIL foundation
  • ServiceNow – Certified Implementation Specialist – (CIS-ITSM)

Desirable Certifications

  • ServiceNow – Certified Application Developer (CAD) – (CIS-ITSM)

Our Compensation Philosophy

Digital Realty offers its employees a highly competitive compensation package, excellent benefits, and an environment that recognizes and rewards your contributions. Central to our compensation philosophy is rewarding our employees for achieving the values and objectives aligned to the company's overall goals and values.

Our published pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and geographical location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. Moreover, an employee’s total compensation package varies by role and may include salary, cash bonus or commissions, and equity awards not quantified below.

Compensation range: $150,000 - $170,000 annually. This compensation range represents the Company’s good faith belief as to what it will pay as a base salary/hourly rate for this position at the time of this posting.
