What You'll Do

Avalara is looking for experienced Account Development Representatives (ADRs) to identify net new prospects and high value opportunities through outbound prospecting. The function of an ADR serves as an important part of our sales process. This team works within the Enterprise space and outbound enterprise sales experience is needed to be successful.

  • This is an Onsite role, (4 days a week in office), based in Durham.
  • You must be based within 1 hour commute to Durham and will report into a Sales Manager.

This role is not eligible for sponsorship.

What Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • Every day you will be creating high-quality opportunities and booking meetings for our sales team using marketing-provided leads through phone, email, and other outreach channels.
  • Every day you will be building your expertise on Avalara’s products, services, and industry landscape to speak confidently and effectively with prospects.
  • Every day you will be actively following up with leads to drive engagement and boost interest in Avalara’s solutions.
  • Every day you will be encouraging participation in webinars, certification programs, and industry events to expand customer education and involvement.
  • Every day you will be focused on achieving your monthly quota of qualified and sales-accepted opportunities—no fluff, just results.
