The Opportunity: We are seeking a talented and driven Multi-System Engineer to join our innovative architecture team, focusing on the design and integration of cutting-edge aircraft digital and communication systems. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in bringing advanced connectivity and data solutions to life, ensuring seamless operation and exceptional passenger experience.You will work as part of the vibrant environment of the Connected Aircraft towards a new level of full digital end to end platform. and explore new business opportunities.

What´s your role

  • Lead the design and architectural definition of complex aircraft data and communication systems, including In-Flight Entertainment (IFE), Cabin Management Systems (FCMS), Satellite Communication (Satcom),.
  • Drive the integration of various systems and components towards a multi system approach, ensuring interoperability and adherence to stringent industry standards (e.g., ARINC, AFDX, Ethernet networking, Wi-Fi, cellular connectivity).
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., software, hardware, certification, test activities) to define requirements, review designs, and resolve integration challenges.
  • Engage in supplier management, evaluating technical proposals, ensuring compliance, and fostering strong partnerships with our leading OEM system providers and partners
  • Contribute to project planning and execution, managing technical aspects of projects from concept to implementation.
  • Support Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, interface control documents, and test plans.
  • Utilize and contribute to the selection of design and analysis tools while using model based system engineering software, engineering requirements management tools.

What You Bring

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Avionics, Computer Science, or a related field, with a strong focus on Communication Technology, Network Communication Architecture and Protocols.
  • Experience: >5 years of relevant professional experience in system design and integration, preferably within the aerospace or highly regulated technology sectors.
  • Technical Acumen
    • Solid understanding of aircraft data & cabin systems including IFE & external-/internal communication
    • Proficiency in aircraft communication systems
    • Familiarity with avionics data buses and networking protocols (e.g. ARINC,, Ethernet, Wi-Fi).
    • Experience with IT & system architecture, design methodologies, and integration principles (requirement based system engineering, model based system engineering)
    • Hands-on experience with relevant design and analysis tools (simulation, requirements management, configuration management).
  • Soft Skills & Work Style
    • A proactive "Can-Do" mindset and a strong team-player approach.
    • Professional communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts clearly.
    • Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and connect diverse stakeholders.
    • Experience with supplier management and strong negotiation skills.
    • A good understanding of project management principles and execution.
    • Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving abilities in a safety-critical environment.
