CGI Federal is looking for an AWS Technical Lead that will oversee the cloud architecture, DevSecOps practices, data science initiatives, and database administration for 2 distinct Army programs. The individual selected will need to be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams in designing, implementing, and sustaining cloud-based solutions on the AWS platform. The Technical Lead will be expected to align customer goals and objectives to a digital strategy that adheres to the AWS Cloud Platform. The Technical Lead will lead efforts to enhance, modernize, and drive innovation with the support of the customer and key stakeholders. The position is 100% remote but may require some travel as defined by customer need.

Lead the design and implementation of scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions, ensuring security, performance, and high availability.
Oversee the adoption and maintenance of agile DevSecOps practices, including setting up CI/CD pipelines and automating deployments.
Guide the design and deployment of efficient machine learning models and data pipelines, ensuring model performance and reliability.
Manage database administration, including the setup and configuration of databases, performance monitoring, and implementation of robust backup and recovery plans.
Collaborate with the CWBI PMO, Cyber Security Teams, and module development teams to streamline Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployment processes.
Ensure role-based access controls and secure authentication methods for cloud services.
Optimize cloud spending by analyzing usage patterns and recommending cost-saving measures.
Support the migration and enhancement of applications, data, and workloads to the cloud, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
Implement and manage network load balancing and dynamic IP addressing.
Host and participate in regular meetings to review requirements, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate on development and data-related topics.
Ensure compliance with DoD regulations and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) for cloud environments.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teams, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or other related fields required
Minimum of 10 years of working experience supporting AWS cloud services
Proven experience in cloud architecture, DevSecOps, data science, and database administration.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipeline setup.
Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
Strong understanding of security standards and compliance requirements.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Experience in designing cloud-native applications and optimizing resource utilization.
Knowledge of serverless computing and microservices architecture.
Strong communication skills and ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Experience with GitHub Enterprise and Platform One tools.
Knowledge of data lifecycle management and intelligent tiering processes.
Ability to implement Zero-Trust Architecture and manage Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $125,500.00 - $247,100.00.
