Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a QA Analyst position

Title: QA Analyst

Position type: Full-time/Contract

Duration: 6 Months with Possible Extension

Location: Charlotte, NC | Chandler, AZ | Des Moines, IA | Dallas, TX | Minneapolis , MN (Hybrid)

As a QA Analyst, you will:

  • Review business and system requirements to design and execute test strategies that ensure the application meets expectations.
  • Create and manage test cases and test data, collaborating with data teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Perform validation and regression testing after production deployments, including during off-hours or weekends when needed.
  • Identify and document defects, working closely with product and technical teams to confirm and resolve issues.
  • Represent the QA function in project meetings, scrum teams, and release planning sessions, acting as the main point of contact for UAT.
  • Ensure compliance with risk and regulatory standards, coordinating with stakeholders to support risk mitigation efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and product managers, to align on testing goals.
  • Maintain testing documentation, including standards, procedures, and release readiness checklists.
  • Contribute to process improvements by identifying opportunities to streamline testing activities and enhance quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Ability to interpret business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test cases and scenarios.
  • Hands-on experience with IVR/IVA systems and understanding of how voice applications function in a contact center environment.
  • Familiarity with telephony platforms such as Genesys, Nuance, Dialogflow CX, or Five9.
  • Comfort working with manual and automated testing tools, including test management platforms like ALM or Octane.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies, including participation in Scrum or Kanban teams and use of tools like Jira.
  • Experience reviewing voice design flows and functional specifications to validate system behavior.
  • Ability to manage UAT cycles, including planning, execution, defect tracking, and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Awareness of compliance and risk considerations in testing processes, especially in regulated environments.

Pay Range*: $42.00 - $47.00 per hour

  • Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
