Primary Responsibilities

As a Tier 2 Analyst in our Global HR Technology Services team, you will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing our global Workday platform. You’ll be on the frontlines of HR technology support, partnering with regional HR teams and our in-house Workday experts to ensure a seamless and efficient user experience across all five regions where SGS operates.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key contributor in the stabilization and continuous improvement of Workday post-implementation.
  • Provide Tier 2 support for Workday, handling escalations from Tier 1 (local/regional super users) and ensuring timely, high-quality resolution of incidents.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) by responding to “how-to” inquiries and guiding users through Workday functionality.
  • Perform mass data uploads using EIB, including testing and deployment.
  • Configure recurring or simple setup values within Workday to support business needs.
  • Collaborate with functional analysts on configuration, testing, and reporting tasks.
  • Maintain and improve support documentation and contribute to service optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience supporting Workday in a Tier 2 or similar capacity is nice to have.
  • Experience in HR Support particularly in HRIS, HR Data Management is required.
  • Familiarity with Workday modules such as HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, or Compensation.
  • Proficiency in using EIB for data uploads and basic configuration tasks is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of incident management and support processes.
