We are seeking an extraordinary Operations Program Manager (OPM) to support Apple’s Global Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for sustaining operations support of corporate and supplier sites to enable best in class efficiency and materials recovery. This role requires a strong blend of operations knowledge and an eye for business.

Description

The Operations Program Manager will partner with a highly cross functional stakeholder group to create and manage a best-in-class operation. You’ll join a team of sustainability enthusiasts driving innovative end-of-use processes that will set the bar for recovery in the industry, all while reducing our environmental impact and improving cost efficiency. Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or MS degree in an industrial, business, or environmental related discipline
  • 7+ years of operations experience in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent record of delivering results on time in a manufacturing/industrial setting, with the ability to work cross functionally with engineering, maintenance, EHS, and suppliers to solve problems and create value.
  • Experienced and skilled in prioritizing environmental, safety and quality standards, with the ability to meet production goals without compromising any of the former.
  • Exceptional ability using Lean methodologies and tools to drive continuous improvement across an operation. Data-driven and willing to take action. Skilled in optimizing factory layouts, footprint optimization, and time motion studies.
  • Ability to develop and review metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and generate reports/dashboards on performance & efficiency, regulatory compliance, budget, time delivery, order accuracy, fulfillment rates, fixed asset tracking, and targets on key turnarounds/audits/improvements).
  • Experience managing shipping and receiving operations as well as stock room materials. Minimize process inventory and achieve the highest level of inventory accuracy.
  • Possesses deep experience participating in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives, including ISO 45001, 9001, 14001 and R2 / E-stewards certification.
  • Amazing collaboration skills, with the ability to pair subject matter expertise with a desire to support/champion the contributions of others. Enthusiastic and detailed while managing several work-streams.
  • Possess excellent presentation skills (Keynote).
  • Ability to provide clear, accurate, and effective communication, orally and in written form.
  • Independence and autonomy spanning all aspects of planning, organizing, and prioritizing one’s work, to ensure work product meets the quality and time standards.
  • Ability to travel <20%.
