Senior Technical Solutions Architect

About your role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Solutions Architect with expertise in governing, designing, and optimizing diverse IT environments, specifically focused on Windows and Linux operating systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in infrastructure management, application performance monitoring, and robust problem-solving skills.

What you’ll do:

  • System Management: Provide oversight, governance, and technical expertise for Windows and Linux servers, including hardware sizing, monitoring, error clean-up, and optimization
  • Cloud Expertise: Support cloud environments on Azure, ensuring seamless integration with applications and optimizing cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency
  • Monitoring & Performance: Utilize tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Moogsoft to monitor application performance and tie application usage back to infrastructure configuration
  • Database: Help drive efficiency for Oracle database configuration and usage, ensuring optimal performance, and perform routine maintenance and error clean-up
  • Network & Security: Suggest and manage firewall configurations and ensure network security. Be able to perform packet capture analysis
  • High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Design, provide configurations, and validate High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions to ensure business continuity
  • Documentation & Standards: Maintain comprehensive architectural documentation of IT configurations and procedures, adhering to industry best practices

Experience you’ll need to have:

  • 8+ years of relevant IT experience; with 5 years of leadership experience
  • Proficient in Windows and Linux server environments, with a solid understanding of Windows IIS and web application pools
  • Extensive experience with Dynatrace for application performance monitoring
  • Strong knowledge of Splunk & Moogsoft for log management, analysis, and notification
  • Experience with Oracle database management and optimization
  • Solid understanding of network infrastructures and firewall configurations, with the ability to correlate application usage to infrastructure configuration for performance tuning
  • Experience in server management, including sizing, load balancing, monitoring, error resolution, and optimization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer
  • ITIL certification
  • Experience in configuring High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions
  • Experience with Azure cloud services, including deployment, management, and optimization of cloud resources
  • Good communication skills providing guidance and direction to development, AppOps, internal stakeholders, and external clients

How you’ll work:

  • Fiserv emphasizes in-person collaboration to help you grow your career while shaping the future of fintech; this role is on-site Monday through Friday
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment

Salary Range

$112,700.00 - $201,400.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey, New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
