Responsibilities:

As a Material Handler, you'll be instrumental in our daily operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Your key responsibilities will include:

Operating various material handling equipment, including sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and especially reach trucks.

Picking and scanning products to maintain accurate inventory counts.

Ensuring proper labeling on all products.

Entering parts receipts and distributing MRO items as necessary.

Processing shipments and defects to and from the production floor.

Assisting in bin location replenishment using scanners.

Maintaining floor stock with minimal supervision.

Contributing to inventory control efforts.

Supporting the material handling team to meet daily production and customer demands.

Participating in training and cross-training for various job functions to ensure seamless operations.

Ensuring shipments are packed and ready for on-time delivery to production.

Submitting written suggestions for process improvements.

Performing other duties as required to meet company needs.

At least 6 months of prior forklift operating experience.

Proven experience operating forklifts: sit-down forklifts, stand up and reach trucks.

Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.

Must be able to sit, stoop, or stand for long periods of time.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of supervisor/management and support staff.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Forklift Certified.
