In the role of Senior Application Developer in the Workforce Applications Development Section, you are the lead developer on the Commonwealth Workforce Development System (CWDS) PA CareerLink system. CWDS is an enterprise application shared between multiple program bureaus and Commonwealth agencies. Effective communication skills are key as you work with other Commonwealth application developers in conjunction with vendor contracted staff through the full software development lifecycle. Your experience in windows, web application development and Sql Server is a plus, as well as experience with relational databases. Work involves gathering and analyzing data, comprehending technical material, instructions, policies and procedures, and preparing technical documents. Your leadership will be crucial in analyzing and proposing IT solutions, designing and developing technical specifications, and interpreting user requirements and translation.
