Senior Data Engineer

We have an opportunity for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Revenue Operations team in Bangalore, India, reporting to the senior manager of Revenue Operations, who is based in the UK. In this role, you will help transform Infoblox’s data landscape, ensuring our data strategy and technology solutions are cutting-edge, efficient, and aligned with our strategic objectives. You will lead the evolution of our data architecture, championing best practices and driving the adoption of AWS-based data solutions. You will also be at the forefront of modernizing our data technology stack, implementing scalable and resilient data pipelines, and enhancing accessibility, security, and usability. Working across all teams at Infoblox, you’ll provide technical expertise to ensure high-quality, reliable data underpins critical decision-making and operational excellence.

Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows
  • Collaborate with Sales, IT, Analytics, and InfoSec teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions
  • Query data lakes and databases such as AWS to prepare optimized data sets
  • Build and support Tableau-ready models and enable self-service reporting across the company
  • Implement and monitor data quality frameworks, SLAs, and alerting systems
  • Optimize performance of SQL queries and Python/Spark workflows
  • Lead the modernization of our data architecture and enhance accessibility and security
  • Stay ahead of data engineering trends and provide mentorship within the Analytics team
  • Support production pipelines, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure operational reliability

Be Prepared — What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, including strong Python, SQL, and PySpark expertise
  • Proven experience with AWS and familiarity with Postgres, Oracle, and cloud platforms like Snowflake, Azure, and GCP
  • Solid programming skills including PowerShell; AI/ML experience in AWS a plus
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub and integration with AWS
  • Demonstrated success in data strategy execution and architectural decision-making
  • Experience in Agile environments and stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical teams
  • Deep understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and continuous improvement mindset

  • Drive best practices in performance, quality, and documentation
