Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience managing the delivery of network technologies or services within network environments (e.g., Service Provider, Enterprise, or Cloud networks).
  • Experience managing New Product Introductions (NPIs) for networking technologies including hardware and software components.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience developing and influencing long-term strategy and product roadmaps for network infrastructure or software systems.
  • Experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage New Product introductions (NPIs) that include Software and Hardware for managing Google’s Global network.
  • Manage ambiguity of the problem space, requirement changes, and priority adjustments.
  • Drive project delivery, technology reviews, guide technical proposals and build consensus amongst cross-functional teams.
  • Set program success criteria, create measurable milestones, track deliverables, and deliver customer value incrementally, measure, analyze, and optimize constantly to improve velocity, quality, and efficiency of projects.
  • Improve Google’s ability to deliver network capacity on-time, with high availability while achieving efficiency.
