We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Firmwide Resiliency Office Tech (ERMA), you will be a highly skilled and experienced Senior Reporting developer with expertise in Tableau, Qlik, IBM Cognos, and other BI tools. You will design, develop, and lead complex reporting and analytics solutions, promoting the delivery of self-service reporting, operational dashboards, and compliance solutions. You will leverage your deep knowledge of data visualization, ETL processes, and data warehousing, interacting with business users and the reporting and DB/ETL team to enforce best practices and ensure high-quality deliverables in a timely fashion. You should have a proven track record of strong communication and people skills and experience working in a structured and agile software development lifecycle.

Job responsibilities

• Intake, analyze, design, model, develop, assure quality, and support requirements.
• Collaborate with business users to model Business Analytics.
• Design and implement interactive reports and dashboards using Tableau.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in Dashboards/Reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Write complex relational Oracle queries.
• Innovate to deliver business value, improve efficiency, and reduce cost.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills.

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, and reporting platforms, with a strong focus on Tableau, Qlik and IBM Cognos.
• Proven expertise in developing interactive and dynamic dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Good understanding of data warehouse concepts and working experience in relational and dimensional modelling is required.
• Technical depth and ability to rapidly understand and communicate the impact of solutions and technology.
• Experience collaborating with business representatives to understand requirements, value, prioritization and business intelligence needs.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, with a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities.
• Experience working in onshore/offshore model.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Familiarity with modern technologies
• Exposure to cloud technologies
• Any experience reporting on Databricks platform.
