Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, a quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in vendor strategy and operations, either in vendor management (working at the client) or in vendor delivery (working at the supplier).
  • Experience in change management, with a focus on productivity.
  • Experience with data spreadsheets, SQL, or Looker.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, as required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Enterprise/B2B support delivery models, extended workforce delivery models, operational efficiency transformation or management/operations consulting.
  • Experience executing large-scale strategic and operational initiatives within a global team.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority, to drive change at all levels within an organization, and to build strong working relationships.
  • Interest in technologies such as leveraging GenAI tools in day-to-day to enhance the quality, effectiveness and creativity of deliverables.

The Google Cloud Vendor Management Organization has responsibility for all extended workforce needs across Google Cloud, including extended workforce strategy, vendor partner selection, governance, operations and performance management. We partner with all Cloud teams in Support, Learning, Sales and Engineering to set up new vendor engagements and improve existing ones.

  • Oversee a large vendor network distributed across different sites or products.
  • Own and manage the relationship with vendor service providers, own service delivery performance partnering closely with suppliers to ensure high quality output and successful customer outcomes.
  • Lead regular business reviews ensuring sites or products are meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Identify operational gaps using a data-driven approach and develop innovative solutions to address these in collaboration with vendor sites and business stakeholders.
  • Understand end-to-end processes impacting the operation (i.e., contracting, finances, capacity, workflows, etc.) and support the relevant stakeholders driving these efforts.
