Valeo’s VIE Program?

The site of Bietigheim-Bissingen based in Germany belongs to BRAIN Division. The site has 1500 employees. We are looking for a VIE Project Buyer for 24 months.

Your challenges?

• You will manage supplier documentation for sourcing
• You will prepare CoQs (Comparison Quotations)
• You will facilitate cross-functional meetings with suppliers on various topics
• You will place sample orders for new development parts, monitor deliveries, payments, etc. You will monitor supplier tooling activities in relation to project milestones.
• You will monitor suppliers' tooling activities in relation to project milestones
• You will complete PPAP documents for new parts

Let’s talk about you…

• You are graduated from a Master degree in commercial discipline (Engineering/technical education is bonus)
• You already have 1-2 years purchasing experience preferred (ideally in the automotive field)
• You have a fluent level of English and ideally you have a good command of German
• You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking
• You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
