Machine Operator 2nd Shift in Hager City, WI

Salary: $23.89/hr.-$29.00DOE

We're recruiting for a Machine Operator at a local manufacturing facility just outside of Red Wing, MN. As a Control Process Operator, you'll set up and operate various equipment to cut, drill, and form pats as specified by blueprints, layup sequence, and/or templates. You'll load materials for processing, verify dimensional requirements, unload and may transfer materials to storage area.

Responsibilities:

• Work with various heavy machinery, power hand tools and equipment • Form and or cut materials into predesignated shapes and sizes, working with sheet metal, various structural materials, forming, drilling, seaming,
• Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely
• Troubleshoot equipment and make basic adjustments, following all OSHA pre-checks and inspections
• Make general decisions as to quality, tolerances, and operation sequence
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Other job duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in operating/welding fabrication shop, metals shop, using - heavy power tools to cut press, drill, basic welding, fabrication, light industrial, industrial, CNC, melt shop, machining, overhead cranes, driving/operating medium to heavy equipment
• Ability to proficiently read blueprints and verify dimensional requirements
• The ability to maintain reliable and predictable good attendance
• The ability to stand throughout the day, and climb on/off equipment, and lift materials in excess of 50 pounds regularly

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday: 2:45 pm to 12:45 am
• O/T Fridays as needed

Pay:

• Wage range: 23.89 – 29.00 with shift differential pay – additional $1.00 per hour.
