Senior ESG Analyst (Decarbonization)

Responsibilities:

  • Data management and analysis of ESG performance related to carbon emissions, energy consumption, water usage and other sustainability data
  • Developing data reporting guidelines and working with sites and EHS managers to ensure data is accurate, supporting documentation is defined and collected, and information is reported according to necessary timelines to meet business needs
  • Responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement and developing projects to achieve ESG strategy goals
  • Become a technical expert on the GHG protocol and emissions accounting; energy efficiency best practices; energy procurement; and renewable energy technologies
  • Develop technical guidelines and work with engineering to implement energy efficiency and sustainability factors for new and existing processes and equipment
  • Prepare regular ESG reports; assist with the annual ESG sustainability report; and support the business with customer ESG data requests, including EcoVadis
  • Develop and implement facility sustainability audit program
  • Support facility ISO 14001 programs; BREEAM certification; and other energy certifications
  • Support global EHS team with technical programs related to electrical and arc flash safety; lockout tagout; machine safeguarding; etc.
  • Use project management skills to organize initiatives, prioritize projects and execute against ESG goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or university degree (preferably in engineering, environmental science, sustainability)
  • 8 years of relevant experience in facilities, energy, or building management in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical working knowledge and experience with ISO 14001, BREEAM, and ISO 50001
  • Technical understanding of facility systems (e.g., HVAC, chillers, compressors) and manufacturing environments
  • Experience and/or familiar with EHS compliance, greenhouse gas emissions data inventories (GHG Protocol), life cycle assessments, and sustainability reporting frameworks like Global Reporting Initiative
  • Technical familiarity with manufacturing safety programs and requirements, lean manufacturing principles including problem solving skills
  • Candidate must have excellent project management and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with ESG frameworks such as GRI, CSRD, SBTi, TCFD, and EcoVadis highly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ESG data tools and reporting systems
  • Ability to work independently and effectively across global teams and time zones
  • Fluent in English

Salary

2600-4000 €/mon. gross

Salary from 2600 (before taxes) after assessing your competencies and work experience.
