The Director of Engineering Services will lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of engineering initiatives across the organization. This role oversees multiple engineers, ensuring delivery of high-quality, scalable, and innovative solutions that align with business goals. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a proven track record in technical management, team leadership, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Manages and directs staff in the planning, development and maintenance of technology infrastructure, including planning and budgeting. Coordinates activities with managers from both administrative and infrastructure areas.
The Details: This is a full-time position with a preference for candidates located in the Puget Sound, WA area. This is a hybrid role, with an expected on-site presence at office in Tacoma, WA 2–3 days per week.

o Ensure the engineering team delivers secure, robust, and scalable solutions.
o Partner with Product Management, IT, and other departments to ensure successful cross-functional collaboration.
o Stay informed of technological advancements and lead the adoption of relevant technologies.
o Manage budgets for engineering services, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
o Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to optimize value.
o Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
o Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.

This position offers an annual salary range of $130,000 - $150,000, plus bonus opportunity. Exact salary will depend on the candidate’s experience, education and geographic location
