How you will make an impact:

Seeking a DevSecOps Engineer, Web, to work on innovative technology for impactful devices. Collaborate with diverse teams to develop and secure software solutions.

What you will do:

  • Create and maintain software build instructions and deployment in an application lifecycle management tool (AWS DevOps)
  • Evaluate new tools and services to further automate and strengthen the software development process
  • Set up and administrate local servers, including build servers, and access to cloud services like Amazon Web Services (AWS) according to corporate IT guidelines
  • Support testability and static code analysis of Python and Java code
  • Ensure compliance with corporate infrastructure and security requirements

How you will get here:

Education

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of related experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Professional experience in software development environments, including CI/CD, version control systems like git, and related tools like Maven, Jenkins, Terraform, Grafana, Prometheus, and Helm
  • Hands-on experience in "infrastructure as code" practices, such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience in cloud technologies like AWS; certification for AWS (e.g., AWS Associate Certificate) or DevOps Professional is an asset
  • Solid knowledge of modern IT infrastructure and operation of IT systems (e.g., Linux, managing configurations, security)
  • Proven programming skills in relevant scripting languages like Python and Shell scripting; experience in clean coding and software testing
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, proficient in English
  • Demonstrated ability in network administration and security
  • Experience with Cloud server environments such as AWS, EC2, Beanstalk, RDS, OpenStack
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory programs (SOC, HIPAA, NIST, FISMA)
  • Knowledge of penetration/vulnerability testing, IDS/IPS, OWASP, SANS Top 25, and WAFs
