Key Responsibilities**

#### **Hotel Safety & Security Operations**

  • Manage and monitor daily **security operations**, ensuring a safe environment for guests, staff, and visitors.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review **security policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs)**, and emergency response plans.
  • Oversee the **CCTV monitoring system**, access control points, key handling, and perimeter security.
  • Conduct regular **risk assessments**, patrols, and inspections of all hotel areas.

#### **Guest & Colleague Protection**

  • Ensure **discreet protection of VIPs and high-profile guests**, including coordination with local authorities when needed.
  • Respond immediately to incidents such as **theft, accidents, disturbances, or fire alarms**, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
  • Conduct **investigations** into security-related incidents and take corrective/preventive actions.
  • Ensure lost & found procedures are followed and secure guest privacy at all times.

#### **Crisis & Emergency Management**

  • Act as the **Emergency Response Team Leader** in fire, medical, or disaster situations.
  • Organize and lead regular **emergency drills**, fire safety training, and evacuation exercises.
  • Maintain the hotel’s **fire safety system and firefighting equipment**, ensuring full compliance with legal standards.
  • Liaise with **local police, hospitals, embassies**, and emergency services when required.

#### **Leadership & Team Development**

  • Recruit, train, and manage the hotel’s **Security Officers and Control Room Operators**.
  • Conduct regular training on **security awareness, conflict de-escalation, guest interaction, and emergency response**.
  • Promote a professional image of the security team in alignment with **luxury service expectations**.
  • Schedule and manage rosters to ensure 24/7 coverage without disrupting guest experience.

#### **Compliance & Documentation**

  • Ensure the hotel complies with all **local safety regulations, hotel licenses, legal reporting**, and insurance requirements.
  • Maintain updated documentation of all incidents, patrols, investigations, and drills.
  • Collaborate with IHG corporate on **risk management reviews and safety audits**.

### **Qualifications & Experience**

  • Bachelor’s degree in **Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field** preferred.
  • Minimum **5 years of hotel or hospitality security leadership experience**, preferably in a luxury environment.
  • Strong knowledge of **Thai legal requirements** related to hotel safety, CCTV, and crisis protocols.
  • Certified in **First Aid, Firefighting, and Emergency Response**; CPR/AED training preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in **Thai and English**.
  • Leadership presence, calm under pressure, and high attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with **IHG Security Systems**, CCTV, radio protocol, and key control systems is a plus.
