Description

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data management plans.
• Perform and document procedures for data preparation including data cleaning, automation, standardization and analysis.
• Responsible for data quality control procedure.
• Develop or improve and embed policies, standards and procedures for improving the quality and managing the protection of sensitive data.
• Run basic, descriptive data analyses.
• Generate ad-hoc data extractions.
• Provides technical advice and guidance with regards to the data standards and associated procedures and other control processes.
• Initiate, implement, and monitor data management initiatives and support data governance committees, data management working groups to help the organization comply with the data management policies.
• Report any errors identified during data review to appropriate team members and assist in resolving issues.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Knowledge and experience of data preparation/quality procedures and requirements (collection, discovery and profiling, cleansing, structuring, transformation and enrichment, validation and publishing).
• Knowledge and experience managing data using database platforms (SQL or NoSQL (is a plus)).
• Knowledge of enterprise data management and any of the following related technologies such as ETL tools, MDM, Data lake/warehouse, Informatica, SAS, MS Azure, (good to have: Python, Google Analytics, SAS CI 360).
• Knowledge and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Has project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Education & Experience

• Must be a Bachelor's degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information System, or related field.
• At least three years of relevant experience in the data management.
