Deutsche Bank Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) is looking for a senior technical analyst in Luxembourg to join our Data & Analytics team. We provide access to high-quality data, analytics and reporting services, as well as expertise to meet the data demand of our clients and to ensure compliance to data governance standards within the Private Bank.
We are looking for a person who has the drive and the ability to understand the business processes and technical side, and transform this knowledge into processes that move the data from source systems into our local data warehouse and further on into consuming applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and ensure performance of end-to-end data transformation and delivery in the context of a data warehouse initiative.
- Build robust data provisioning solutions, including versioning and thorough documentation, and ensure adherence to local policies and regulation.
- Directly interact with a broad spectrum of stakeholders in multiple regions, explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Pro-actively manage joint project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
Skills
- Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent certification) and minimum 10 years of work experience in a similar role.
- In-depth practical knowledge of data warehousing, coupled with solid expertise in programming languages SQL/PLSQL, Unix scripting as well as openness to learn new technologies.
- Experience with tooling across the SDLC: e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Confluence, Artifactory, Git/BitBucket.
- Excellent analytical skills, problem solving, open minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Very good in communicating and comfortable interacting with stakeholders at various levels within the organization with excellent English language skills, spoken and written.
The successful candidate will be asked to present a recent criminal record.
