What will you do?
As a Principal Product Manager for Pricing Optimization at Amazon Shipping, you'll pioneer innovative pricing strategies that drive shipper behaviors to optimize our network economics while growing business impact. You'll develop sophisticated approaches to balance capacity utilization, package quality, and volume growth across our global logistics network. Your work will create win-win opportunities for both Amazon Shipping and our customers by aligning pricing strategies with operational efficiency goals.
You'll architect dynamic pricing capabilities that adapt to network conditions, optimizing resource utilization across the network.
Who are you?
You are an innovative product leader with deep expertise in pricing strategy, program design, and behavioral economics. You have a proven track record of developing sophisticated pricing programs that effectively influence customer behavior while driving business growth. As this position involves regular interaction with senior leadership (VP+), you're comfortable influencing at the highest levels while also providing hands-on guidance to business, operations, and technical teams.
The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with business creativity, possessing both the strategic vision to identify optimization opportunities and the execution skills to bring those strategies to life. You're a strong owner, right a lot, and have demonstrated success building products that transform how businesses approach pricing as both an economic and behavioral tool. You excel at balancing customer experience with business economics, driving alignment across diverse stakeholders, and making principled decisions that optimize for long-term value creation.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $145,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
