The Mission
As a Sales Representative for Stryker’s Orthopaedic Instruments division, you will be responsible for developing and growing the Southern Netherlands territory, covering Limburg, Noord-Brabant, and Zeeland. You will represent our power tool and personal protection equipment (PPE) portfolio, delivering value to both existing and prospective hospital customers.
This is a direct sales role with a strong focus on new business development. You will combine strategic commercial thinking with hands-on field presence, including in operating rooms during product demonstrations. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a self-managed territory and enjoys building strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

What You Will Do
- Manage and grow an existing customer base while actively acquiring new business
- Sell both capital equipment (e.g., power tools) and consumables (e.g., saw blades), and tailor commercial proposals to customer needs.
- Support and train surgical staff during operating room product demonstrations (no scrub-in required).
- Collaborate closely with your manager and colleagues in a small, agile team.
- Provide exceptional service throughout the full sales cycle, from prospecting to post-sales support.
- Attend trade shows, congresses, and clinical meetings to expand your network and stay informed on market trends.
What You Need
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, ideally within medical devices, capital equipment, pharmaceutical, or other healthcare-related sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Suitable fields may include physical education, physiotherapy, business, marketing, life sciences, or similar.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Fluency in Dutch and proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Commercial drive, curiosity, adaptability, and resilience in a complex sales environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
