Are you looking for a fast-paced and challenging position that will provide you with extremely valuable data warehouse, data infrastructure, and analytics experience, extensive variety, and frequent exposure to managers and staff in the Information Technology Branch? The Employment Development Department (EDD) is looking for a highly motivated and qualified individual to work in the Business Intelligence Data Warehousing Group (BI DWG). The Information Technology Specialist I work as a Data conversion analyst for the EDD BI DWG.

The incumbent represents the interest of EDD's program customers, Department goals, and IT Branch directives in developing new Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities which lead to cost savings, improved analytical decision making and faster response times for external and internal information requests.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and is subject to change as business needs arise. Employees are required to report to their headquarters office on their assigned in-office days. Travel expenses to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee.

This position is located at 800 Capitol Mall in the heart of downtown Sacramento. Benefits of working at this location include:
