Main Duties & Responsibilities

The role of the Inspector is to assure consistent quality of products and processes. This is accomplished by implementation of our inspection specifications, operational procedures and instructions to ensure compliance to specified requirements. The Inspector also provides support to the operation through assisting with the training and development of manufacturing associates as it relates to quality.

Partial list of job duties, & responsibilities:

• Assuring that the product quality requirements have been met through routine
• product inspections.
• Assisting with training and development of our workforce as it relates to
• product/process quality.
• Performing periodic audits of products and processes as necessary to help assure the
• highest quality possible.
• Assisting with identification and quarantine of product in the event of
• nonconformance.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with measurement inspection in manufacturing environment using micrometers, calipers, indicators, optical comparator etc.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and make sound decisions as it relates to product application.
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Must be organized, have time management skills
• Ability to make decisions and problem solve
• Understanding of measuring equipment
• Ability to use computer
• Must be available to work 2nd shift - 2PM-10PM
• Injection Molding and Steel Stamping experience preferred.
