Position Overview
About the role:
Working Capital is a product pillar within the Corporate Bank´s Trade Finance and Lending division. Working Capital solutions are offered globally to corporates and financial institutions across the different regions (Americas, Europe, Germany, and Asia Pacific).
The Global Working Capital Structuring team is a dedicated structuring central team that works together with the regional sales teams in the origination, structuring, and execution of diverse working capital financing solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Originate, structure, and implement Working Capital financing solutions (receivables, inventory and supplier/payables finance, and Asset based lending) for global clients.
- Generate revenues according to the budget targets. Perform any tasks related to transactions, including preparation of sales and/or investor pitches, preparation and perform platform demos, preparation of responses to requests for proposals (RfPs), pricing calculation, preparation of profitability and utilization analysis, preparation of credit risk memorandums and other memorandums / papers to discuss the transactions with internal stakeholders. Conduct client visits or attend to external conferences if required.
- Act as a subject matter expert for strategic initiatives / projects.
- This is a senior role in the team, so lead and expand the knowledge into junior colleagues and collaborating and sustaining high-trust relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization is expected.
Required experience and skills set:
- At least +7 years of experience in the trade finance space or corporate banking
- Demonstrated experience as structurer in Trade Finance or Structured Credit is beneficial
- Extensive understanding of bank / client accounting standards, trade finance legal standards and relevant EU regulations
- Fluent in English. Other European language would be beneficial
- High motivation, good organizational and analytical skills, results oriented and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- To be comfortable with and enjoy taking ownership
