A Brief Overview

The Clinical Project Manager II, within The Cell and Gene Therapy Operations Team, plays a critical role in supporting the successful onboarding and institutional readiness for commercially approved cell and gene therapy products. This position serves as a strategic and operational liaison between clinical, operational, and administrative teams to ensure seamless integration of these advanced therapies into hospital workflows. Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, managing operational readiness assessments, aligning processes with regulatory and payer requirements, and ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of therapies to patients. The role requires a strong understanding of complex logistics, high-cost therapy reimbursement, clinical workflows, and regulatory considerations unique to cell and gene therapies.

What you will do

  • Project Management:
    • Develop, manage and execute work plans, deliverables and project reports/updates.
    • Set project / operational priorities, resources and risks.
  • Project Execution:
    • Manage project execution including milestones, documentation, schedules, roles, responsibilities and progress.
    • Complete post-project evaluations to ensure project outcomes and resolve issues.
    • Develop and implement tools and processes to support division projects and operations.
  • Data Collection, Analysis and Reporting:
    • Coordinate and perform data collection (e.g., databases, surveys).
    • Conduct advanced qualitative and quantitative analysis and communicate results.
    • Identify and address opportunities for data reporting and collaborate to facilitate data requests.
    • Assist with other operational needs including professional practice evaluations (OPPEs), provider letters and scorecards.
  • Communication:
    • Manage communications and relationships with project stakeholders.
    • Lead project meetings and coach project team members.
    • Provide education on project management, improvement tools and methodologies.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree - Required
  • Master's Degree - Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • At least five (5) years of relevant project coordination / management experience - Required and
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or research related environment - Required
  • At least three (3) years of healthcare or research related environment - Preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge guidelines (PMBOK) including productivity tools, project charters, work plans and budgets.
  • Advanced knowledge of quality improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Intermediate knowledge of electronic medical record software (EPIC)
  • Intermediate proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent critical thinking / problem-solving skills

Licenses and Certifications

  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) - Project Management Institute (PMI) - upon hire - Preferred or
  • Project Management Certification (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI) - upon hire - Preferred or
  • Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) - American Society for Quality (ASQ) - upon hire - Preferred

SALARY RANGE:

$81,670.00 - $104,130.00 Annually

Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
