Air Liquide Philippines, a fully owned subsidiary of Air Liquide Group, started its operations in 1994 and currently employs 230+ people. We operate air separation units (ASU), hydrogen plants, carbon dioxide plants, cylinder refilling stations and depots, on-site plants and pipelines nationwide. Our main plant is situated in Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City, and our head office is in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
We serve a wide spectrum of markets and industries including electronics, food processing, pharmaceuticals, metals, automotive, shipbuilding, and hospitals.
Air Liquide Philippines is ISO 9001:2008 certified as well as GMP certified for medical oxygen. In addition, our liquid carbon dioxide plant in Pasig City filled the requirements for Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000) for the manufacture of this gas as a food additive.
We are currently looking for a dedicated Hydrogen (H2) Plant Operator to become a part of our team at our plant located in Pasig.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
- Conducts routine equipment checks and logs data to minimize plant downtime and ensure continuous supply.
- Actively participates in achieving zero accidents by reporting near misses and adhering to safety policies and the IMS system.
- Implements safety, housekeeping, and audit action items, coordinating with the Team Leader.
- Inspects and maintains plant safety equipment.
- Implement the HSEQ Action Plan to provide a safe and healthy workplace and protect the environment. This includes diligent record keeping, filing, and monitoring of permits and other regulatory requirements.
- Operational Excellence and KPI Achievement: Perform plant operations to achieve target Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the H2 facility, preparing daily monitoring reports to measure performance and ensure continuous improvement.
- Performs maintenance, troubleshooting, and operates/monitors the H2 plant within specifications, assisting with reports and work orders.
- Operates, monitors, and controls the plant within specifications and handles customer calls.
- Ensures compliance with quality policies and ISO 9001:2015, manages non-conformances and calibrations, and actively participates in training.
- Perform calibration of analyzers, report any deviations on product analyzers, and monitor calibration gases. Actively contribute to facility safety audits, inspections, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions, ensuring all action items are closed out promptly.
- Utilize and maintain updated documents such as Guidelines, Work Instructions, SOPs, Equipment Manuals, and Checklist forms. Additionally, perform daily production monitoring and reporting, update the plant operation dashboard and inventory, and coordinate daily with Logistics personnel, having passed all required training and qualification as an H2 Operator.
Are you a MATCH?
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Production Engineering (or a closely related field).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with exposure to gas generating plants or similar industrial operations.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and recommend effective corrective and preventive actions for equipment or plant deviations, as well as for findings from safety and quality audits.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism when dealing with multiple and challenging situations.
