Summary

CVS Health is looking for a Senior Manager, Front Store and Retail Marketing Communications to join our Pharmacy and Consumer Wellness Communications (PCW) team. In this role, you will be focused on assisting the PCW team in developing and executing on robust communications strategies aligned with our business priorities as we work to transform our retail stores into leading community health and wellness destinations. This role will work cross-functionally providing strategic counsel, execution, and ongoing support to multiple teams within merchandising, marketing, influencer, and supply chain as key areas of the PCW business.

We are looking for someone who is creative, organized and results-driven, has strong experience developing and driving consumer-centric communications, is comfortable in a fast-paced environment and will bring ideas to the table that keep our target audiences informed and inspired.

Your responsibilities include:

• Serve as a strategic advisor for the PCW business to help identify and align on communication opportunities that can be shared and celebrated across internal and external channels.
• Write and develop messaging to support key business initiatives, seasonal retail priorities, health and wellness innovation, product announcements, and social media content targeting a variety of stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Communications partners to highlight PCW news, innovations, new and existing product assortment updates, marketing initiatives, and strategic achievements as available.
• Partner with Front Store, Social and Influencer Marketing teams on strategic campaigns and always on efforts to ensure alignment and visibility with the broader Enterprise Communications organization.
• In partnership with the Front Store Marketing team, provide brand reputation oversight in PCW social media and influencer content developed to ensure risk is identified and mitigated as part of the vetting process.
• Provide strategic thought leadership support for Front Store leaders, which includes identifying and vetting external speaking engagements, reviewing briefing and speaker materials, managing internal review processes, advising on social media content, and tracking and reporting on results.
• Oversee award submissions for the PCW team, this includes identifying and submitting to key industry awards to help build awareness and brand reputation for leaders and products as applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 7-10 years of business experience in health care, consumer health, consumer product or retail communications role.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including ability to present information and share points of view clearly, succinctly, and persuasively.
• Demonstrated experience in external communications, ideally including retail and/or consumer health care products and services, influencer engagement, and close collaboration with marketing teams.
• Ability to build relationships, collaborate with other communication professionals, and key stakeholders at more senior levels, including senior executives, toward a common goal.
• Ability to plan work to achieve larger project goals within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Superb writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Experience working with external agencies and/or as part of an agency overseeing public relations and influencer campaigns on behalf of a business.
• Past experience supporting executive thought leadership including media, speaking events and social media content.
• Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills.
• Experience managing junior staff across multiple projects.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or related field required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
