WHAT YOU'LL D

  • Analyse, define, implement and execute tasks related to software and product quality, for a cloud-based product, focusing on both backend and frontend testing
  • Create detailed test plans, including test coverage analysis, for the product and for new feature development
  • Create and execute test scenarios and test cases (manual and automated) for new feature development
  • Execute (manual and automated) test cases to avoid regressions
  • Develop and monitor automated tests, using languages such as JavaScript and frameworks such as TestCafe.
  • Lead quality continuous improvement, by:
  • Running root-cause analysis for issues and proposing improvement actions
  • Proposing new tests to increase test coverage
  • Collecting and monitoring product and software quality KPIs
  • Work with cross-team collaboration to enhance quality-related processes and being the point-of-contact in the team for quality topics
  • Work in an agile team that uses the Scrum framework to self-organize and work towards the development goals.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A solid background in Software QA, encompassing both manual and automated testing for frontend and backend cloud-based applications.
  • Expertise in test planning, design and execution, leveraging tools like Jira for requirement review and adhering to established testing principles.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Postman, Robot, Cucumber, etc.
  • Programming/scripting skills in any language such as Java, Javascript/Typescript, GoLang, Python, C/C++ or other.
  • Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI) and version control systems (Git).
  • Willingness to take ownership, drive new developments, and work creatively on challenging and groundbreaking tasks
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues leveraging technical and product skills.
  • High level of commitment, teamwork spirit, flexibility, and initiative.
  • Good communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud platforms and deployment workflows.
  • Experience with API testing.
  • Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in any of the following areas: Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering.
  • Advanced English.
