Your impact
Jacobs is seeking an experienced AI Architect to join our innovative team working on cutting-edge AI solutions using Palantir Foundry and Azure platforms. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of AI systems that drive business value across our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee the implementation of AI architectures and solutions on Palantir Foundry and Azure platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities and translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Develop AI strategies aligned with Jacobs' business objectives and technology roadmap
- Ensure AI systems are scalable, maintainable, and adhere to best practices in security and data governance
- Mentor and guide junior team members in AI development and implementation
- Stay current with the latest AI technologies and industry trends, recommending innovations where appropriate
- Work closely with data scientists and engineers to optimize AI model performance and deployment
Here's what you'll need
- 8+ years of experience in AI/ML architecture and implementation, with at least 3 years in a senior role
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field
- Proven experience with Palantir Foundry and/or Azure AI services
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and natural language processing
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python or Java
- Experience with PySpark
- Experience with big data technologies and cloud computing platforms
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Track record of successful AI project delivery in enterprise environments
Nice to have:
- Any specific certifications that would be beneficial (e.g., Azure AI Engineer Associate)
- Mention of any industry-specific knowledge that would be advantageous (e.g., experience in engineering, construction, or consulting sectors)
