Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for an Electrical Assembler!
Position Summary: Are you a meticulous and skilled assembler looking to contribute to cutting-edge industrial technology? Our client in Cedar Rapids, a leader in designing and manufacturing high-powered systems for tempering, cooking, and drying applications, as well as custom control systems, is looking for a dedicated Electrical Assembler to join their team. If you thrive in a hands-on environment and enjoy working with electrical components, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and integrate electrical components for industrial systems, including transmitters, batch systems, cooking ovens, drying ovens, and tempering ovens.
- Work with precision to assemble complex electrical circuits.
- Route and connect wires according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate assembly.
- Utilize various power and hand tools effectively and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Proficiency in using power and hand tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Prior experience in electrical assembly or a similar manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Hours:
- Monday – Friday
- 7am – 3:30pm
