As a Quality Inspector, you will oversee incoming component inspections, in-line and in-process checks, and issue labels for special projects. You will conduct AQL inspections in response to customer complaints and manage rework processes. Your role involves handling over 1200 samples for production lots, ensuring quality checks of medical products throughout manufacturing and packaging. You will be responsible for checking for defects in bottles, totes, caps, and other packaging, pulling labels for batch records, documenting all inspections and batch record information, and ensuring compliance with GMPs, SOPs, FDA regulations, and quality processes.
Hours are M-F 6am-2:30pm. The company manufactures OTC drugs, cosmetics, and medical devices, primarily producing lubricating jellies, shampoos, and saline syringes. The role is split equally between floor inspections/auditing and office-based documentation and project work. The company offers paid holidays and two weeks of prorated vacation annually. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
