Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and excellence of our products through meticulous inspections and accurate documentation. You will utilize specialized equipment to perform quality checks and contribute to maintaining high standards within our facility.

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual inspections to detect foreign materials, blemishes, or mold.
  • Accurately document quality attributes such as size, color, brix, and defects.
  • Operate equipment including thermometers, refractometers, calipers, and metal detector interfaces.
  • Conduct checklists, swabbing, and line pre-op inspections.
  • Follow sampling protocols for retained samples and pathogen testing.
  • Prepare and label samples for internal or third-party lab analysis.
  • Assist with ATP swabs and allergen swab testing.
  • Communicate non-conformance issues clearly to Production or QA Supervisor.
  • Assist with hold/reject processes and rework.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to follow sampling protocols and prepare samples for lab analysis.
  • Familiarity with QA logs, batch records, and lot traceability.
  • Proficiency in digital entry using Excel, Google Sheets, or internal QA systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
  • Punctuality and reliability.

This is a Contract position based out of Royal City, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
