Principal Data Scientist
The Role
Fidelity Workplace Investing is seeking a Data Scientist to support initiatives around healthcare personalization and customization. You will lead data science projects at the intersection of machine learning and healthcare, working with business partners, data engineers, software developers, and other data scientists. You will be a subject matter expert, guiding artificial intelligence roadmaps and keeping up with the latest developments. The assignments may include exploratory analysis, feature engineering, experimentation, forecasting, numerical optimization, and real time scoring.

The Team
Fidelity’s growing healthcare business services employees of our clients with offerings such as a benefits administration platform for selecting and managing their benefits and a health savings account product for saving for medical expenses. Analytics permeates many aspects of the business to better the customer experience, from recommendations during open enrollment to streamlining backend operations. We deliver both internal digital tools and customer facing applications by leveraging a diverse set of healthcare and benefit related data sources. We employ a full spectrum of data science techniques - statistical analyses from epidemiology, predictive models from machine learning, and LLM are all part of the mix. We push the envelope of what’s possible with advanced analytics to help people select, manage, and navigate their personalized healthcare benefits.
Data Analytics and Insights
Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
