Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to support preconstruction planning, scheduling, and estimating with regular updates. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and issuing project projections and look-ahead schedules, managing RFIs and submittals, drafting scopes of work for contracts, and managing project risks. You will also support and assist with the development of other project managers, monitor and control project budgets, and prepare and process subcontractor and owner change orders.

Responsibilities

• Support preconstruction planning, scheduling, and estimating with regular updates.
• Develop and issue project projections and look-ahead schedules.
• Manage RFIs and submittals, including maintaining logs.
• Draft scopes of work for contracts and manage project risks.
• Assist with the development of other project managers.
• Monitor and control project budget.
• Prepare and process subcontractor and owner change orders.

Essential Skills

• Construction project management experience of at least 7+ years.
• Strong project scheduling background.
• Experience in commercial construction.
• Familiarity with managing $1 million+ projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proven ability to support large-scale projects.
• Strong estimation skills in commercial construction.

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily office-based, with approximately 70% of the time spent in the office located in the East Village. The office houses 17 employees and includes amenities such as an in-office gym and access to a company truck if available. Projects are all within central Iowa, with the furthest active project located in Newton. This position offers a personable office culture with yearly bonuses dependent on project and individual performance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
