General Job Description

We are hiring a CNC Machinist to operate and program high-capacity CNC machines at Greiner Industries. The role requires experience with mills and lathes, and the ability to work with minimal supervision on complex jobs.

Schedule: First Shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm) or Second Shift (Mon–Thu, 3:30 pm – 2:00 am)

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce high-precision parts
• Read blueprints and job specs; input and edit programs at the machine as needed
• Work with machines such as Doosan mills/lathes, HNK VTLs (157”–196”), HNK Gantry Mill, G&L G60 Mill, Smart 316 Mill, and HNK HB130 Mill
• Detect issues during operation; make manual program edits and tooling adjustments
• Verify tolerances with calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Perform or coordinate routine maintenance
• Handle prototype and first-run setups, including extra quality checks
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Specific Qualifications

• Experienced in CNC machining (2+ years required), with a preference for both mill and lathe capability
• Able to edit G-code and make program adjustments directly on the machine
• Familiar with a range of controls and machines (Doosan, HNK, G&L, etc.)
• Skilled in blueprint reading, GD&T, and basic math/trig used in machining
• Comfortable working independently on complex or first-run jobs
• Flexible with overtime and weekend shifts as needed
• Willing to submit to a drug test and background check
