JAVA SPRING BOOT ARCHITECT

12 MONTH+ CONTRACT

3 DAYS A WEEK ONSITE IN AUBURN HILLS, MI

HOURLY RATE: $70/hr. W2 / C2C IS OK

ALTA IT Services is seeking a hands-on Technical Architect with solid Java and Spring Boot to lead the evolution of a high-scale, distributed microservices platform. This role is ideal for a highly skilled technologist with deep expertise in Spring Boot microservices, cloud architecture, and secure, scalable API ecosystems. This is a 6-month+ contract-to-hire assignment, with potential for extension. Hybrid 3 days a week, onsite at an automotive customer in Auburn Hills, MI.

What you’ll be architecting:

• Scalable microservices ecosystem using Java and Spring Boot
• Secure API architectures with advanced authentication patterns
• Event-driven systems leveraging MQTT, Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Cloud-native solutions on AWS with Docker and Kubernetes
• Observability platforms using Kibana, Grafana, and CloudWatch

REQUIRED SKILLS

• 15+ years of enterprise backend development experience
• 5-7 years of proven architecture leadership experience
• Deep expertise in Java, Spring ecosystem and cloud architecture
• Crystal clear communication skills to inspire teams and stakeholders

HOURLY RATE: $70/hr. W2. C2C is OK
