Job Title: Material Handler Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler Forklift Operator to join our team. This role involves performing warehouse work related to receipt, shipment, storage, or distribution of products. You will be responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and storing products according to delivery or routing documents or supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload finished products and production materials into trailers.
  • Manage warehouse inventory and flow.
  • Stage materials for production.
  • Perform warehouse sanitation duties.
  • Package and move recycling and production waste.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and production through RedZone chat.
  • Maintain accurate and neatly written documentation.
  • Rotate through all production forklift positions.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment, including gas and electric forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and attachments like tote dumpers.
  • Operate and troubleshoot all robot palletizers on the Tualatin campus.
  • Always follow GMP and safety regulations.
  • Use SAP and RF Scanner for receiving materials and loading finished goods.

Essential Skills

  • 6+ months of warehouse/material handling experience.
  • English competency to pass safety class.
  • Forklift operation experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and make decisions independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 500 pounds with a pallet jack and lift or carry up to 35 pounds frequently.

Work Environment

Work in a clean warehouse environment with available shifts on the back half days. Initial safety training will take place at the Tualatin facility, after which you will work onsite at the Wilsonville facility. The dress code is appropriate for a warehouse setting, with an emphasis on safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilsonville, Oregon.

Shift Type: Back Half Days: Every other Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6am-6:30pm

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
