Job Title: Assembly Operator

Job Description

Join a dynamic assembly team where you will work in various sections, utilizing gauges, calipers, and soldering irons to build PCB boards. You will be responsible for constructing circuit boards, cameras, flexes, and other sensitive electrical systems while ensuring a dust-free environment. Additionally, you will engage with software uploads on smartphones, which form part of the controller for viewing purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Proficiently assemble small, complex mechanical components.
  • Experience with soldering or willingness to learn.
  • Follow assembly documentation and execute verbal/written instructions with consistency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Maintain clean and orderly workstations and production areas.
  • Communicate ideas and problems effectively to technicians and engineers.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in assembling hardware products and electronics manufacturing.
  • Background in IT or manufacturing.
  • Ability to operate precision measuring equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior manufacturing experience with circuit boards, cameras, flexes, or other sensitive electrical systems.
  • Executing tests with specialized fixtures and equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and reworking electronics or other complex mechanical assemblies.
  • Experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) production.
  • Assembly repair, test, and troubleshooting experience.
  • Interest and passion in world-class drone manufacturing.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hayward, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
