Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Join our assembly team responsible for assembling process water chillers. You will contribute to one of three departments: R-Series, OPC, or Lx. Starting in either the OPC or Lx line, you will work on standardized units with occasional customization.

Responsibilities

• Fit and braze copper tubing.
• Wire basic electrical components.
• Assemble brass fittings.
• Read pipe and wiring schematics.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Experience in mechanical assembly and machine building.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Skill in electrical wiring and troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Good mechanical skills.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and listening skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems is a plus.
• A sense of humor is appreciated.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elmhurst, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
