POSITION DETAILS
New York City College of Technology (City Tech) of the City University of New York (CUNY), a comprehensive college in downtown Brooklyn offering associate and baccalaureate degrees, is accepting applications for an ASAP|ACE Academic Program Specialist.
ASAP|ACE helps students earn their college degree as quickly as possible, by removing the financial, academic, and personal obstacles that many students confront. Key ASAP|ACE program features include a consolidated block schedule, cohorts by major, required full-time study and comprehensive advisement and career development services. Financial incentives include tuition waivers for financial aid eligible students, yearly textbook vouchers, and monthly transportation benefits for all students. Reporting to the ASAP|ACE Program Manager – Collaborative Strategy, the Academic Program Specialist is responsible for planning, executing and guiding all academic support initiatives for ASAP|ACE. The Academic Program Specialist collaborates with the ASAP|ACE team and other City Tech stakeholders to enhance student success and ensure access to academic and personal resources.

Bachelor's Degree and four years' relevant experience required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$52,267 - $62,411 . Salary commensurate with education and experience.
CUNY is in the process of implementing salary schedule increases. Once implemented, salaries of eligible employees will be adjusted by 6.09% with additional increases of 3.25% effective 9/01/2025 and 3.5% effective 9/01/2026, in accordance with the terms of the PSC-CUNY collective bargaining agreement.
