This role involves starting presses, responding to operator call lights, assisting with shift set-up, and ensuring each job is properly set up before production begins. The position may act as a back-up supervisor when the shift supervisor is unavailable. Responsibilities include ensuring machine efficiency and shift utilization by promptly setting and processing molds. You will ensure all necessary equipment and personnel are ready for molding jobs each day, maintain proper operation methods, processing, communication, documentation, and defect identification, and perform basic machine maintenance. Adjustments to machines will be made in accordance with engineering and quality guidelines, customer requirements, and machine capabilities.
This is a very clean shop with excellent communication from management, making it a great place to work. Paid lunches and breaks, quarterly attendance bonuses, and annual bonuses are offered. Opportunities for overtime are available if desired, along with potential for upward mobility within the company.
The work environment is a very clean shop with injection and blow molding capabilities. The facility is open and spacious, climate-controlled, and very pristine. You will be part of a team of four on this shift, including two process technicians and one in training. Working hours are 3rd shift from 11:00pm to 7:00am, Monday through Friday.
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
