About this opportunity:

MINI-LINK is one of Ericsson’s flagship transport solutions, with over 3 million units delivered globally. It’s a robust, modular microwave transmission system supporting both Ethernet and TDM traffic — a critical enabler for mobile networks worldwide.

You’ll be part of a cross-functional, agile team of highly skilled C/C++ and Java developers, working on both new feature development and test automation. Our teams embrace the DevOps mindset and operate in a CI environment, aiming for continuous delivery and constant product evolution.

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain C/C++ code on a Linux-based platform for MINI-LINK features
• Contribute to Java-based automated testing of newly developed features
• Participate in agile planning, implementation, and retrospectives
• Translate complex system requirements into high-quality, scalable code
• Handle debugging, bug fixing, and code optimization tasks
• Collaborate with team members and remote stakeholders daily
• Share your expertise and support junior colleagues with mentoring
• Drive continuous improvement across the codebase, testing, and processes
• Stay up to date with evolving telecom technologies and product needs

You will bring:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Experience in embedded software development
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, with Java knowledge as a plus
• Solid Linux user experience
• Familiarity with Agile development and CI practices
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of complex systems and networking concepts
• Fluent English, both written and verbal
• Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable mindset

Nice to have:

• IP network protocols and networking stack knowledge
• Experience with version control, build systems, and CI tools (e.g. Git, CMake, Jenkins)
• Exposure to Python or scripting for automation
• Telco or transport network experience
