The Manager of Data Integrations provides leadership and management oversight for the Integrations/EDI department. You serve as the primary point of escalation for integration/EDI mitigating time-line, quality, and technical risks. The Manager of Data Integrations promotes team unity, consistency, problem-solving, and client and/or partner solutions. You collaborate closely with leadership to accelerate service excellence and efficiency across Integrations/EDI with primary responsibility for data team execution, resource coordination, and leading the effort to enhance new work-streams to achieve operational effectiveness objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Champion new processes and procedures among team and ensure compliance with established protocol.
  • Enhance procedures to improve customer delivery, efficiency, velocity, and quality.
  • Provide expertise and thought leadership enabling new processes to deliver on improved outcomes.
  • Manage personnel activities of staff (i.e., hires, trains, appraises, rewards, motivates, disciplines, recommends termination as necessary, etc.).
  • Serve as mentor and coach fostering collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders as well as direct reporting line.
  • Represent EDI Leadership with vendors, partners, and clients for programs or relationship engagements to move the EDI department forward in achieving operational objectives.
  • Promote team communication and collaboration across channels.
  • Management oversight of delivery and support of the company’s Integration/EDI processes in support of key business functions with persistent focus on continuous improvement.
  • Execute on department performance targets and individual performance targets annually.
  • Provide resource management oversight with clear objectives, guidance, and execution of resolution.
  • Provide key data insights through reporting/analytics to drive decision making across the EDI/Data Integration teams.
  • Management oversight of standardization with design/configurations for file feed specifications, build, system configuration, and carrier engagement.
  • Ensures that the team delivers agreed upon work products within the timeframes and quality.
  • Resolves issues and removes impediments for the Integrations/EDI Organization.
  • Escalates the issues that may delay completion of committed work to the Director of Integrations to find an acceptable resolution.
  • In collaboration with Director of Integrations, develop future department roadmap and execute on department initiatives.
  • All other duties as deemed necessary by management.

  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office, are highly organized, self-starter and autonomous with an ability to prioritize and action your day-to-day.
  • You possess strong Analytical, problem-solving skills with a solid understanding in active learning and self-management abilities.

Necessary Strengths, Skills, and Competencies

  • 3-5 years of management experience with relevant Benefits Technology EDI experience or similar relevant EDI experience
