We are seeking a Sr. Advanced Engineering Test Engineer with strong technical leadership to lead the development of advanced functional test solutions in strategic NPI projects. This role combines expertise in test automation, validation, and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME), aiming to ensure scalable, reliable, and mass-production-ready processes. The candidate will serve as a technical reference, working cross-functionally with Firmware, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management teams.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of functional test solutions.
  • Coordinate technical requirements with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Define validation strategies, test coverage, and KPIs.
  • Oversee hardware/software integration in test stations, ensuring robustness and maintainability.
  • Resolve complex product and station-related problems with structured thinking.
  • Actively participate in design reviews with a manufacturability (DFM/DFA) focus.
  • Support definition of process flows, layouts, line balancing, and installed capacity.
  • Lead the test process introduction plan from EVT to mass production.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior/intermediate engineers.
  • Act as technical liaison with external suppliers of fixtures, software, and instrumentation.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in electronic product design, test station development and implementation.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools: LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, and C#.
  • Proven technical leadership in NPI and functional validation environments.
  • Advanced manufacturing experience: scalable processes, layouts, capacity planning.
  • Hands-on involvement in EVT, DVT, PVT, and MP.
  • Fluent English to lead global teams and suppliers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with structured thinking.
  • Experience mentoring junior/intermediate engineers.

WE VALUE:

  • Deep knowledge of NPI processes (EVT, DVT, PVT, MP).
  • Experience with embedded firmware, connected products, and functional validation.
  • Advanced manufacturing focus: layouts, scalability, capacity analysis, coverage.
  • Experience working with external vendors (fixtures, software, test houses).
  • Solid technical leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Experience using documentation systems such as Enovia or Agile.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) for product data, BOMs, cost and routing management, and procurement.
